SilverBlaze to Celebrate 20 Years in Business at CS Week 2019

With CS Week just around the corner, the SilverBlaze team is excited to celebrate its 20th anniversary of being in business at the world-renowned utility industry event.

Set to be held at the Phoenix Convention Center in Arizona from April 8-12, SilverBlaze will be attending the event exactly 20 years after the company was first founded. We are looking forward to catching up with existing partners, as well as showcasing our innovative customer portal solution to other industry experts attending the event. 

The theme of this year’s CS Week is set to be around the proliferation of mobile technology. While these devices are often associated with the “death of conversation”, they are also empowering utility providers to improve engagement with their customers.

In the CS Week 2019 program, Rod Litke, CEO of CS Week, wrote: “Cell phones and particularly smart phones have changed utility operations and company engagement with customers more than any other technology.

“They drive consumer self-sufficiency, allow engagement in ways never imagined even 10 years ago and reduce the cost of doing business. Their ubiquitous presence though begs balance: the negatives, as told by Jenkins, can be squared with the positives these devices have ushered in.”

What is CS Week?

CS Week is the premier annual educational and customer service conference serving electric, gas and water/wastewater utility professionals across North America and around the world.

More than 2,000 utility professionals and industry partners attend the annual event, from municipal to investor-owned corporations of all sizes.
